ST. LUKES –THE WOODLANDS SAY PATIENT NOT A THREAT FOR EBOLA

St. Luke’s The Woodlands has released a press release in reference to a possible Ebola victim coming into their facility early Sunday morning. Based on the patients symptoms and reported recent history hospital officials immediately implemented the CDC’s Ebola Virus screening protocol. This included protective suits, quarantine of the affected area.

After numerous tests hospital officials determined the patient did not meet the requirements to be placed under investigation for Ebola.

St. Luke’s goes on to say, Patients, employees and the community at large can rest assured that all appropriate protocols have been taken.”
