Just before 1 p.m. MCHD was dispatched to a stabbing on Northgate Drive just off FM 2090 and Tram Road. Units responded to the scene and found the son of a 53-year-old man had become involved in a confrontation and stabbed his father in the side. The father was transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury. The son then fled the home down Northgate where he was able to get a ride out of the neighborhood. The driver of that vehicle was stopped on Tram Road across from the park he was detained and showed deputies where the male exited the vehicle. Units from Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Patton Village and Splendora Police along with Department of Homeland Security searched the area for almost two hours without locating the suspect.
