UPDATE!!! The stolen truck has been recovered! The suspect ditched it and ran from police into the woods around Homestead Road in Houston.
The owner is grateful to everyone who shared the link for their help in this process. Also, the truck owner’s daughter says it was his birthday.

If more officers were matched with a K9 partner, ditch and run would be much less successful! How many times recently have we seen the perp get away from the police by bailing out? Many thanks to MCPR for providing a way for citizens to share information to facilitate apprehension. Glad the owner has his property back.
Hmmm. Homestead rd. in Houston. Right smack dab in the middle of 5th Ward…an area known to have produced numerous thugs, interlopers and criminals. As I have posted before…these “Houston visitors” are coming up here to steal . rape, and kill and love to steal our vehicles to take back to Houston to commit crimes. This truck was most likely headed for a crime and chop shop. Can we set up roadblocks on the major roads and highways coming into this county and determine just how many of them are determined to prey on us…?
