HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Sunday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office witnessed two vehicles racing in the 7500 block of FM 1960 E., which is the Atascocita area. Deputies initiated traffic stops. Amazingly, both drivers stopped. They were identified as 20-year-old Israel Contreras and 31-year-old David Contreras. Unfortunately for him, Israel Contreras was also found to be illegally in possession of a gun, adding a second charge.
“David and Israel Contreras were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Racing on a Highway. Israel was also charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. Their bonds and court information have not been set at this time,” Constable Mark Herman said.
