STORM CAUSES DAMAGE IN WILLIS

Thursday afternoon storms were described by some residents on Blueberry Hill Drive in Willis as a hurricane coming across Lake Conroe. When it hit people took shelter in closets, and bathrooms as their homes shook and rains pelted the glass windows straight on. When all was over several homes had damage from porches torn off to metal buildings reduced to scrap metal. Even carports were torn away and roofs damaged. Blueberry Hill Road actually went underwater with the intense rains making it impassible.
