SUBWAY IN SMC ROBBED

On Friday, February 20, 2015, at approximately 9:45 PM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were dispatched to a robbery that had occurred at a Subway restaurant located in the 300 block of Sawdust Road, in Spring, Texas.

Upon Deputies arrival, it was reported that a white sports utility vehicle backed into a parking space in front of the location, occupied by three males. Reportedly two of the males exited the vehicle and entered the location. One of the males reportedly brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The restaurant employee complied with the actor’s demands, giving him an undetermined amount of money. Reportedly the actors then fled the location, proceeding to the waiting vehicle which drove off toward Interstate 45. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office units responded to the location but were unable to locate the actors.

Descriptions of the suspects are three black males wearing a dark, “hoodies”, dark pants, with their faces covered. The investigation is on-going and investigators are in the process of reviewing evidence.
