On September 6, 2010, at approximately 2:40 pm The Huntsville Police Department responded to the 500 block of Nan Way, within the Tanglewood Mobile home park, in reference to an unresponsive female. Huntsville Police Officers then discovered the body of 17-year-old K’Lynn Kohr within her trailer.
Detectives from the Huntsville Police Department with the assistance of the Texas Rangers responded and processed the scene.
On 09-08-2010 a warrant was obtained on Jerwoody Moler W/M DOB 05-22-1983 for the murder of 17 year old K’Lynn Kohr. Kohr was found deceased on 09-06-2010, within her trailer on Nan Way with wounds that appeared to be consistent with a knife or sharp object.
Jerwoody Moler may be driving a tan 2002 Ford Explorer TXLP# AS54-607, with minor damage to the passenger side, a Marine Corp sticker on the back window, as well as a religious cross sticker on the back window. The Ford Explorer is entered as stolen.
Jerwoody Moler is traveling north from Huntsville and was last seen at a Pawn Shop in Dallas, Texas on 09-07-2010, where he pawned stolen lawn equipment. Surveillance footage from the pawn shop revealed a possible injury to Moler’s right hand.
Jerwoody Moler was released from TDCJ on parole in June 2010 to a Christian based half-way house in New Waverly. Moler obtained employment in Huntsville through this Christian group.
Moler was incarcerated for Assault on Public Servant and escape out of Gray County, Texas. Moler has aggravated assault, burglary, and theft on his criminal record. Moler is considered armed and dangerous.
Moler is a white male 5’11 190lbs with red hair and hazel eyes.
