Shortly before noon Monday, someone fired a shot or shots from a vehicle in the 17400 block of White Oak Orchard, striking a man. MCHD medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
The incident occurred in the Deerwood Subdivision, off of Crockett Martin Road, which connects Hwy 105 East near Cut and Shoot with FM 2090 near Grangerland.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and seeking information regarding the suspect. Witnesses said the shooter was alone, driving a blue Nissan Rogue or Nissan Murano.
