On March 27, 2018 at about 0410 hours, Conroe Police Officers stopped a black Lexus passenger car at I.H. 45 N/B feeder road near Gladstell St. As the officer approached the window of the vehicle, the driver produced a handgun and began firing at the officer and the officer returned fire. The vehicle fled the scene and has not been located at this time. The officer was not injured and we do not know about the suspect’s condition. I have attached a snapshot of the driver taken from the bodycam. If anyone knows the identity of the suspect, please contact Sgt. S. McCann at 936-522-3341.
