On January 12, 2019, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a residence in the 22700
block of Highland Bluff Lane in reference to a disturbance. Upon deputies arriving, they located a female
suspect, identified as Sharell Williams, sitting in her vehicle in front of the residence.
Further investigation revealed that Sharell Williams attempted to force entry into the complainant’s residence
and caused damage to the front door.
Sharell Williams refused to exit her vehicle and answer any questions. The driver side window was partially
down so the deputy reached in, in an attempt to open the door. While the deputy’s arm was inside the vehicle,
Sharell Williams rolled the window up, trapping her arm inside the vehicle and causing her pain.
Additional Constable Deputies arrived at the location and were able to free the deputy’s arm, open the door
and remove Sharell Williams from the vehicle.
“Sharell Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault of a Peace
Officer. Her bond is set at $10,000.00 out of the 209th District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman
