On May 7. In 2025, Harris County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to an aggravated robbery (carjacking) at the Exxon Gas Station located at 6903 E Mount Houston Rd, Houston, TX. Two Hispanic male suspects met with the complainant under the guise of purchasing a Ford Explorer. The male suspects brandished a firearm and told the complainant to get out of the vehicle. The male suspects then fled the gas station in the complainant’s vehicle. Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Detectives conducted an investigation and identified the suspects as Ronald Antonio Amaya Chicas, 08/19/1998, and Raul Argueta Castillo, 11/26/1988.On Thursday, May 15, 2025, Detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and HCSO SWAT executed a search and arrest warrant at a residence in the 7400 block of Redding Road, Houston, TX. Detectives found the stolen black Explorer in the garage.Ronald Amaya Chicas was arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault. The second suspect, Raul Argueta Castillo, was arrested for Aggravated Robbery.
