Monday night, about 8:30 pm, a Tavola resident reported three males breaking into their vehicle on Fauburg Drive. They had observed them on a Ring camera. Due to the high number of auto thefts in the area, Roman Forest Police and MCSO were in close proximity and were there within minutes. The stolen tools were recovered and returned to the owner. Arrested was Xavier Malakai Ramsey, 17, of 22280 Stoney Ravine in Tavola. He is charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. Along with him was Noah Yandel Simmons, 18, of 2211 Caroline Park in Spring. he is charged with burglary of a motor vehicle and bribery after attempting to bribe the deputy. Oliver Westmoreland, 17, of 31814 Windwood Park in Spring, was also arrested. He also faces charges of bribery and burglary of a motor vehicle. Anyone else who may have had a vehicle broken into is asked to call the Roman Forest Police or the MCSO.
