UPDATE: Robles escaped from the Clemens Unit trusty camp in Angleton, Texas.
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is searching for an escapee. Kidanny Robles (#01651991), 33 years old, was determined missing from the facility during the routine count at midnight on Sunday, June 23 at the Clemens Unit trusty camp in Angleton, Texas. Robles walked away from the trusty camp, a housing location outside the main prison for inmates requiring a lower level of supervision.
Robles is serving a 20-year sentence for aggravated robbery, robbery and burglary of a habitat out of Bexar County as well as a subsequent 180-day sentence for possession of a controlled substance out of Nueces County from 2022. After releasing on parole in 2021, he returned to TDCJ for a parole violation in 2023.
He was last seen wearing a white prison uniform.
