TEEN CHARGED AGAIN IN CLEVELAND HIGH SHOOTING THREAT

After an extensive follow-up investigation by the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, Cleveland I.S.D Police Department, Department of Public Safety and Texas Rangers into the school shooting threat to the Cleveland High School on Tuesday, 18 years old Elizabeth Linares-Jimenez, of the Plum Grove area, surrendered to lead Investigator Steven Rasberry in the lobby of the Sheriff Office at approximately 3:30pm Thursday evening by arrangements of her attorney. Earlier in the day a search warrant was signed by Judge Chap Cain through his 253 District Court and an arrest warrant was secured through Pct. 6 Justice of the Peace Judge Ralph Fuller.

After the search warrant was executed, the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Linares-Jimenez Attorney and arrangements were made for her to surrender at the Sheriff’s Office. Elizabeth Linares-Jimenez, who is presently out on bond for a similar offense, was booked into the county jail and charged with the third-degree felony offense of making a Terroristic Threat.
