Teen Driver Leads Precinct 5 Deputies on Long Pursuit

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- In the predawn hours of Friday, Deputies with Pct. 5 Constable Chris Jones’s Office initiated a traffic stop on Buddy Riley Blvd. The driver refused to stop and, instead, led Deputies on a 33-mile pursuit that ended in Grimes County.

The teenage driver was found to be illegally in possession of narcotics. Deputies arrested him for the drugs and for evading. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe for booking.

Rodolfo Alexander Saravia Carranza, 18, of Houston is charged with third-degree felony Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle; and third-degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 2, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. Bond wasn’t set as of this posting.
