A teen has been flown to Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center in critical condition after a 7:00p.m. shooting in the Woodland Oaks Subdivision close to FM 1488 and FM2978.
According to Montgomery County Detective Sgt. John Schmitt three teens were playing video games in the 6400 block of Hayden. A confrontation ensued and one of the boys grabbed a pellet rifle close by in the room and shot the other teen in the head. Both the teens were from the neighborhood visiting at the location.
EMS was dispatched and found an unconscious 16-year-old male at the location. They called for Hermann Life Flight which landed at FM2978 and FM 2978 as the boy was brought to them.
No charges will be filed at this time but could be in the future.
