Saturday night at approximately 9 PM a black 2011 Mercedes-Benz C300 sedan was traveling northbound on 22300 Rothwood Road. The vehicle entered a critical speed yaw and failed to drive in a single lane, going off the east side of the roadway into the adjacent ditch. The vehicle struck a raised driveway in the ditch causing it to vault. Upon landing from the vault, the vehicle flipped, ejecting an unsecured passenger. The ejected passenger was killed due to injuries sustained in the crash. This crash is under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division.
