Harris County deputies in Northeast Harris County responded to 11570 E Sam Houston Pkwy N (near Garrett), just after 6 am this morning in reference to an adult male who was driving an 18-wheeler that was shot by another motorist. The victim has been transported to a hospital and his condition is unknown. The incident occurred on the northbound feeder just north of Garrett Road. The investigation has revealed that a vehicle was driven by a 23-year-old driver and her 15-year-old brother. After what they claim was the 18-wheeler hitting their mirror, the 15-year-old fired on the truck to get it to stop. Both returned to the scene to check on the driver. The teen is being charged with aggravated assault. The 18 wheeler driver remains in critical condition at Bentaub.
