A man who disappeared without a trace last week after having drinks with his fiancee has been found. Jose Velazquez, 32, was reported missing by his family after he did not show up for work on Wednesday. Velazquez’s fiancee, Chanel Nelson told Eyewitness News she parted from Velazquez Tuesday night from a bar in on Main Street. It wasn’t until Wednesday morning that she received a call from his family about his disappearance. Velazquez was found alive around 3:25 p.m. this afternoon by Equusearch. He was at the intersection of FM 1488 and SH 242. Equusearch Volunteers arrived at the location this morning and started to search. After walking over 100 yards into the woods they found a bumper from his vehicle. He was then found at his vehicle. He was still alive but severely dehydrated. He was transported to Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands. What officials believe is that Tuesday night, the last time he was seen he was traveling down SH 242, when he approached the intersection of FM 1488 he drove through the intersection and into the woods, He was ejected from his vehicle but managed to crawl back to it.
