The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announces services to honor the life and legacy of Texas Highway Patrol Trooper Kevin Alexis Ramirez Vasquez who died on Sept. 28, after being struck by a vehicle while investigating a crash earlier in the month in Ector County.

The family invites friends and the public to attend the visitation and funeral on Thursday, Oct. 3, however, the graveside services on Friday are reserved for invited guests only. Trooper Ramirez Vasquez proudly served his country in the United States Army as well as the National Guard, and military honors will be performed at the cemetery.
