The person who called the bomb threat in at Caney Creek High School this morning got what he wanted. He was able to miss classes but unlike the rest of the cold students who have now returned to their warm classrooms he will be cooling off in a juvenile facility. Police have detained a 16-year-old male who they believe called the threat in.
The staff at Caney Creek High School and CISD Police along with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office did an awesome job in closing the campus down and getting the students clear of the building as quickly as possible. Most parents received at least one email and a automated call to be aware of the situation.
Then the swift action of CISD Police in tracking the caller.
