The TEA Party strikes again!
First, a little background information: A few years ago, the TEA Party was successful in getting most of their choices elected to Precinct Chair positions, including replacing Bryan Christ with Gwen Withrow with their very biased voter guides. The Precinct Chairs are the County Executive Committee (CEC) of the Montgomery County Republican Party (MCRP) and “decide” who to endorse on the MCRP voter guides. The TEA Party members are the “Vetting Committee” for prospective candidates in every race and make recommendations to the CEC to endorse certain candidates. The CEC accepts the recommendations without question, research, or any communication with the candidates. After all, they are beholden to the TEA Party for getting them elected, right? The Eagle Forum and one other PAC have the same, or similar membership as the TEA Party, and/or are extremely influenced by TEA Party recommendations. That means the recommended candidates on four voter guides at the polls, appearing to be from separate entities, are determined by a handful of people on the TEA Party vetting committee. But voters who don’t know anything about the candidates believe that if 4 “different” groups are supporting these “conservative” candidates, they surely need to vote for them!
The TEA Party made great strides in recent elections. They replaced 4 members of the MCHD Board, controlled the City of Conroe vote, and the CISD vote, frustrating numerous teachers, not to mention shocking educated voters who did their homework and voted for the candidates who were replaced by TEA Party endorsed candidates. I believe they played a big part in The Woodlands Township election and several others, too. They endorsed Sheriff Henderson, who lost, then immediately went MIA, continuing to collect a $16,000++ paycheck for 7 months. Now, they are saying Wesley Doolittle is “their guy!” That’s a direct quote from Dale Inman. How can a man they vilified and lied about for months, now be so warmly accepted and “their guy?”
Now, about the MCAD board:

“Item 4: Mr. Bagley made a motion to amend the prior MCAD resolution for removal of Mr. Brent Thor and to nominate Mr. Luis Pedraza, Mr. Charles Shirley and Mr. Robert Walker* to the resolution for nominees to the MCAD board of directors. Mr. Shirley offered a second. After board discussion motion passed unanimously.”

“Item 10. Good of the Order: Charles Shirley announced that there are some issues with the county Appraisal Board. The 5 appointed members’ terms expired on Dec. 31, 2024. The board members are required to notify the public of the expiration; however, they did not and therefore have no standing to continue to conduct business which they have continued to do. Mr. Shirley described how these board members are appointed and by whom. There are several conservative Party members running for these appointed positions and need the support of the community.”
*On January 14, 2025, Robert Walker was arrested for interfering with public duties by refusing to provide his name and resisting detention during a confrontation with Entergy when they attempted to install a Smart Meter at his residence. On his Affidavit of Financial Condition, he said he owns his own business but has not had any income since October 2024. He said his spouse’s income is $200/month. His wife posted a $500 cash bond. He is defending himself and the documents he has filed seem to align with what I know (I know very little actually.) about the beliefs of “Sovereign Citizens.” His next scheduled court date is February 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM in County Court 4.
He is on the Steering Committee of MCRP and the Chairman of the Rules Committee.. I find that ironic since he doesn’t appear to like rules. He’s also on the TEA Party vetting committee.

For the record, I have never met or even spoken to this man, but he should NOT be appointed to any board, especially not the MCAD Board.
If you’re starting to see the same names over and over – Charles Shirley, Bob Bagley, Robert Walker, and a few others – you now know who is trying to control the elections. Add John Wertz, Jon Bouche, Betty Anderson, Dennis Tibbs, and Pat Tibbs, and I believe you’ll have the full picture.
