THIEF ARRESTED
During July, 2024, the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office Detectives began an investigation of an adult male, identified as Leonel A. Chirinos-Bello, 37, of 2543 Shad in Conroe, who had been accused of stealing from his employer for the past several years by altering/forging his paychecks.
Detectives reviewed various banking records which indicated that the suspect had stolen approximately $90,000 USD between the years of 2021 to 2024 by altering the amounts on his paychecks and depositing them into his bank account, as well as selling company property directly to consumers.
On October 1st, 2024, Leonel was arrested and charged with theft over $30,000 but less than $150,000, a third-degree felony, and forgery of a financial instrument over $30,000 but less than $150,,000
Leonel was transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail where he is confined.
Constable Ryan Gable’s Detectives will continue to seek out and hunt those who commit crimes against the people of Montgomery County.
