KC will be euthanized if nobody gives her a home by 5 p.m. today. Adoption fees are waived. Our shelter volunteer friend says KC would be an excellent barn cat – Lots of people around here have barns – Don’t you need a pretty kitty to keep the pests out?

KC has been with us for several months and hasn’t had the easiest time adjusting to shelter life. She has been quite stressed and has shown some challenging behaviors, like swatting and trying to bite, which means she has not been easy for staff to handle. However, we have seen that KC can enjoy gentle pets and some interaction, though she definitely has her limits and will let you know when she’s had enough. KC would do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands her boundaries or could even thrive as a barn cat, where she can enjoy her space.
