Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 Deputies served 65 civil papers and 1 writ throughout East Montgomery County. Numerous suspects were arrested, clearing 67 JP4 warrants and 1 JP 3 warrant. 5 Montgomery County warrant arrest, and 10 felony warrant arrest.
No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way!
10 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County because 10 drivers had no license and/or no insurance, 2 other vehicles were towed after the drivers were arrested for other charges. 15 other drivers were cited for other traffic violations. 1 vehicle was recovered after it was found to be stolen during a narcotics investigation in the Cumberland neighborhood in the Porter area.

On 01-19-11 at 9:00 pm Pct. 4 Deputies along with Splendora Police Department responded to a mobile home park on First Street in Splendora in reference to a tip of a wanted felon. Deputies made contact with a female identified as 23 year old Christina Odom and a male identified as 22 year old Thomas George III, both stated that the wanted felon known as30 year old Dustin Mills was not on location. Deputies were able to located the wanted felon hiding inside the mobile home in the utility room. He was stuffed inside of a clothes dryer. The wanted felon resisted arrest and fought with deputies. He was arrested along with Christina and Thomas. They were charged with hindering apprehension felony 3. They were all transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Pct. 4 Deputies left this location and responded to a second tip on another wanted felon in the Porter area. Deputies responded to a home in the Cumberland neighborhood and found that the wanted person was not on scene. While checking the area, the wanted person identified as 34 year old Michael Taylor was seen in a small blue car in front of the home. The driver of the small car was trying to leave the area but found himself blocked in the roadway due to the Constable’s patrol cars on scene. When the deputies ordered the driver to stop, he refused. The Deputies were able to stop the vehicle. The driver was arrested for interfering with public duties. He was identified as 32 year old Thomas Hogan from Columbia Tx. The passenger was identified as Michal Taylor, he was arrested for his outstanding felony warrants. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The small blue car was towed. A stolen GMC SUV was found to be in the driveway area of the home. Taylor was also charged with the stolen vehicle.
Narcotics Arrest.
On 01-20-11 at 3 am, Deputy Bergland conducted a traffic stop on a small black car for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as46 year old Christy Latham and the passenger was identified as 34 year old Michael Kakowski AKA Doughboy. A baggie and a syringe was tossed from the vehicle during the traffic stop. Both were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence. The black car was seized. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Teenage Marijuana dealer.
On 01-24-11 at 5 pm Deputy Chapa responded to a burglary call at 21731 East Martin Dr. in Porter . While on scene Deputy Chapa discovered that there was no burglary but a large amount of marijuana in the home, packaged up and ready to sell. The male on location was identified as 17 year old Erik Martinez from the Porter area. He did advised the deputy that he attends Porter High School and he sells drugs to make spending money. He was arrested for possession of marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. The New Caney ISD Police was made aware of this arrest and his past actions.
