THREAT MADE ON DEPUTIES LIFE DURING ARREST

On Friday, a Montgomery Coutny Precinct 2 Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 13000 block of Stowe Rd in Conroe and made contact with multiple occupants inside the vehicle. During a probable cause search, deputies located pills identified as controlled substances.
Following the investigation, Eli Salazar, 41, of Porter, was taken into custody and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1-1B (<1 gram), a state jail felony. While being transported to the Montgomery County Jail, Salazar made threats toward the deputy and was additionally charged with Terroristic Threat Against a Public Servant, also a state jail felony.
