FORMER CONROE FIRE MARSHAL

On Friday, Battalion Chief Matthew “Capo” Capozzelli concluded his distinguished 11-year tenure with Tomball Fire Rescue. Capo began his journey with Tomball Fire Rescue in October 2013, following in the footsteps of his father, the former Fire Marshal of Conroe. Having started his firefighting career in 2000, Capo brought a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for community service.

Throughout his time in Tomball, Capo achieved significant milestones that highlighted his dedication and leadership:

• 2016: Promoted to Driver and Lieutenant, showcasing his commitment to advancing his skills and responsibilities.
• 2024: Elevated to Battalion Chief, a testament to his unwavering dedication and the respect he earned within the department.
As Capo transitions to Waller-Harris Emergency Services District #200, he carries forward a legacy of excellence and service. His new role will undoubtedly benefit from his extensive experience and passion for community safety.
