I-45 northbound and southbound main lanes are CLOSED at Cypresswood due to an armed suspect in a standoff with law enforcement.

According to the Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman, the female suspect was involved in a crash and displayed a gun, refusing to drop it despite Deputies’ demands.

As a public safety precaution, the freeway’s main lanes are closed on both sides.
