A procession will be leaving Herman Hospital shortly, transporting fallen firefighter Corby MCKenzie to an area funeral home. He lost his battle with cancer this morning.
Please yield to the vehicles with lights activated that are escorting someone who would’ve given his life to save yours.

I talked with I assume was a supervisor from South County this morning at Aldi on Rayford. We were chit-chatting in the checkout line. I had mentioned the loss of the fire truck overnight and of course the loss of life of the woman driving what appears to be the Corolla. He mentioned losing this guy too, this morning. He said it’s been a rough morning and indeed it has been. RIP.
