I-45 northbound service road, just south of Loop 336 – major accident. MCHD Medic 20 rolled up on it while transporting a stable patient, and briefly stopped to render aid. They reported the crash to dispatch, and another medic swiftly responded and took over. No doubt the accident victims were grateful for the accidental perfect timing and stopping by the first MCHD crew and such a quick response by the second. Few counties are as blessed as Montgomery County to have such excellence in emergency services.
