HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A traffic stop on December 11, resulted in the arrest of a man wanted on multiple felony warrants involving a child, according to Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
Deputies conducted the stop in the 1100 block of North Sam Houston Tollway West and identified the driver as Lazaro Carreon. A records check revealed Carreon had two active felony warrants, including Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child (Sexual Contact).
Carreon was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail on the outstanding warrants. His bond was set at $80,000 out of the 228th District Court.
Constable Mark Herman said his office remains committed to proactive enforcement efforts focused on identifying and apprehending individuals wanted for serious offenses in order to help protect the community.
All individuals arrested or charged are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
