Jeremy Ayala, 27, of the Woodlands can actually say he was involved in n tree vs. auto accident. In this case the tree struck him as he drove his Mustang GT westbound on FM 1488 just west of I45. Several trees on the north side of the road have died due to this summers drought. with the winds the past few days and now the rains weighting the limbs down several have fallen.
Ayala had no warning, he said he was driving along and all of the sudden he was covered with glass from his windshield. He was uninjured but his car of two weeks sustained substantial damage.
