HARRIS COUNTY, TX– Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested three suspects Sunday, after responding to a retail theft in progress call. The suspects, later identified as Anthony Aguilar, Bianca Lopez, and Glenn Taylor, are accused of stealing over $4,000 worth of merchandise from multiple local businesses, including Home Depot, Target, Walmart, and CVS.
Deputies responded to a business in the 26200 block of the Northwest Freeway. Upon arrival, they observed the suspects fleeing the scene in a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted shortly after, and the allegedly stolen cosmetics and electronics were recovered inside the vehicle and returned to the affected retailers.
All three suspects were arrested and charged with Theft. However, one of them, Bianca Lopez, now faces an additional felony charge. According to officials, while being booked into the Harris County Jail, it was discovered that Lopez had allegedly concealed narcotics in her body cavity. Authorities say she consumed the drugs in an attempt to destroy the evidence, resulting in a charge of Tampering with Evidence.
“Anthony Aguilar, Bianca Lopez, and Glenn Taylor were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail,” Constable Mark Herman said. “Lopez received an additional charge for tampering with evidence. Their bond amounts and court dates have not yet been set.”
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working with retail partners to determine if the suspects may be connected to additional thefts in the area.
