TRIO ARRESTED IN STOLEN VEHICLE ATTEMPTING TO STEAL ANOTHER

Around midnight, Montgomery County Precinct  4 deputies observed a pickup truck drive through the Porter Walmart parking lot with no lights on and park near another pickup truck. Upon making contact, the plate and VIN displayed on the truck returned to a different vehicle. After further investigation, a ski mask, burglary tools, and several ECMs were located inside the vehicle. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Task Force assisted with locating the actual VIN of the vehicle which showed to be stolen from Lone Star College-Kingwood in August. The rightful owner of the vehicle was notified and was reunited with the vehicle. It was believed that the occupants inside the vehicle were going to steal the pickup truck they parked next to. Arrested were Jose Guadalupe Morales Jr., 33, of 11210 Cheeves, Houston. Morales is charged with theft over $2500 but less than $30,000, a State Jail Felony. Also arrested was Dominique Demond Stewart, 32, of 10550 Barnham in Houston. Stewart was also charged with theft over $2500 but less than $30,000, a State Jail Felony. The third person arrested was Sebastian Alexander Vigil, 24, of 1607 Tampico, in San Antonio. Vigil was also charged with theft over $2500 but less than $30,000, a State Jail Felony.
