Wednesday morning Conroe Police responded to a gas pumping station on Butler Road off FM 3083 for a copper theft in progress. When they arrived they observed three males with backpacks and tools leaving on bicycles. One had cut his hand requiring EMS to respond.
Police discovered they had stripped all the copper out of the building and the electrical conduits around it.
All three were arrested and charged with burglary of a buillding and theft of material 50% aluminum, bronze, copper less than $20,000.
The three charged are John Leslie Low age 22 of 1179 Jeffcote Road, Tony Alberto Murphy, age 22 of 11880 Stone Hedge and Robert Nathan Stone, age 29 who gave his address as Cut and Shoot.
