Last week a DPS Trooper observed several Black males leave the TJ Maxx Store on Interstate 45 at FM 3083 with multiple purses. The males entered a Chevrolet Suburban driven by a female.
The Trooper initiated a traffic stop, however the thieves fled running FM 3083 to Frazier then Frazier to Northwoods. where the two Black males fled on foot. Conroe Police located them a short distance away and arrested the two.
The female who at first said she had been kidnapped was also quickly arrested when they learned she was the get away driver. Over $3000 in stolen merchandise was recovered.
Charged were Johnny Jones, age 18 of 18969 Hollins in Conroe. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on organized retail theft and evading arrest. His bonds totaled $3750.
Also charged was Marquell Jerimiah Schuster, 19, of 97085 Bimma Drive in The Woodlands. He is also charged with organized retail theft and evading arrest. He has bonds totaling $3750.
The driver Alicia Russell, age 31, of 1011 1/2 Roberson in Conroe. She is being held without bond on evading arrest with a motor vehicle. organized retail theft, abandon and endanger a child.
