Alex is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph…15 km/hr and this motion is expected to continue during the next 24 hours. On the forecast track…the center of Alex will approach the coast of Belize and the Yucatan Peninsula tonight and will move across the peninsula on Sunday and into the southern Gulf of Mexico Sunday night and Monday.
