Just after 9 p.m. Thursday night, Louis Colon, 32 of Spring borrowed a friends truck for a trip to the Shell Station at SH 242 ande FM 1485. As he puled up to the front of the building his brakes failed causing the truck to go over the curb and crash into the front of the store. There were no injuries, however damage to the front of the store was extensive.
This is the second time within a year that a vehicle has driven into the business.
Caney Creek Fire Department and New Caney Fire Department responded to the scene as did MCSO, DPS and Precinct 4.
