Twice the Legal Limit + Open Warrants + Crash = Jail

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Thursday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office were responded to a crash the 200 block of the N. Sam Houston Parkway East where they found the at-fault driver was Joseph Eaglin. He allegedly displayed multiple signs of intoxication, prompting Deputies to administer a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Deputies determined Eaglin was intoxicated and had three open misdemeanor warrants. Further investigation revealed his alcohol content was 0.166, which is over twice the legal limit.

“Joseph Eaglin was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 11,” Constable Mark Herman said.
