Trinity County Christmas Burglary Arrests Made
On December 22, 2015 the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary at 231 Dogwood Hill Trail. The suspects gained entry through the front door of the residence. Suspects stole numerous items throughout the home that included televisions, firearms, and several wrapped Christmas presents. Eye witnesses saw a silver pickup truck leave from the residence. The vehicle was occupied by three black males. One of the males was riding in the bed of the truck holding a television.
Trinity County Sheriff’s Office received information that Angelina County Sheriff’s Office had recovered several stolen firearms. Through a joint investigation, it was learned that one of the recovered firearms came from the Dogwood Hill Trail burglary. Trinity County Sheriff’s Office has served felony warrants on two of three suspects.
Trinity County Sheriff’s Office is treating this as an ongoing investigation until the third suspect is captured. It is believed that the suspect has fled to the Houston, Texas area.
