TWO IN CUSTODY AT WOODLANDS MALL

After a pursuit that continued from Interstate 45 northbound it continued when a black truck with a flat bed made the u-turn and started southbound. Troopers and Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies south to Lake Front Circle as is wound down to the Best Buy parking lot. The chase continued through the Best Buy parking lot onto Lake Woodlands. Shot were fired at the vehicles tires by DPS, once the pursuit reached at a point where other citizens could be put in danger. Tire blown, the truck continued to the  Woodlands Mall parking lot where the driver drove up to the upper deck of Macy’s and jumped out along with his passenger.

A foot chase then went into Macy’s and the mall area where both were captured. A pistol was recovered from one of the suspects.

There were no injuries.
