On January 18, 2016 Deputy J. Malek with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity believed to be a possible burglary in progress in the 11900 block of Paramount Ln. Upon arrival, the deputy observed two males attempting to hide by sliding down in the seat of a vehicle.
Deputy Malek detained the suspects and in the course of his investigation, he discovered a firearm and learned that the vehicle was stolen and had been taken in an aggravated robbery. The suspects were identified as Charleston Ransom and Brock Matthews.
Brock Matthews was arrested, charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Charleston Ransom was arrested and charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Both were then booked into the Harris County Jail. Matthews bail was set at $3000 out of the 337th District Court and Ransom’s bail was set at $5000 out of County Court 004.
