HARRIS COUNTY, TX — Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested two women on Thursday, after the pair allegedly stole more than $500 worth of merchandise from a Bath & Body Works store in northwest Harris County.
Deputies were flagged down regarding a theft at the Bath & Body Works located at 6545 North Grand Parkway West. Upon arrival, deputies learned that two female suspects had stolen more than $580 in merchandise from the store.
Deputies located the suspects in the parking lot and detained one woman, identified as Scheaky Washington. The second suspect fled on foot across North Grand Parkway. After a brief foot pursuit, deputies apprehended the fleeing suspect, identified as Taquorya Thomas, who was later determined to be a convicted felon.
Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Thomas was charged with Theft and Evading Arrest, with bonds totaling $10,100 set out of the 263rd District Court and County Court 13. Washington was charged with Theft, and her bond was set at $100 out of County Court 13.
