Just after 7:00 p.m. the Montgomery County Sheriffs Office, MCHD and Lake Conroe Fire Department were dispatched to a shooting on April Waters North in the April Sound Subdivision. It was reported by a female in the home that her father, a Texas Concealed Handgun Holder shot her Donna Quinlan, 56 and was attempting CPR before Sheriff’s Office and Montgomery Police arrived on the scene.
Thomas Anthony Quinlan, 58, the husband of Donna and the President of Ink Jet in Willis had gotten into a argument with his wife after they just returned from a cruise. That is reported by detectives to have triggered the shooting. She was shot multiple times with a small caliber gun and died on the scene.
Thomas Quinlan has been booked into the Montgomery County Jail on murder charges.
