7:30 p.m. What was believed to be a busted pipeline near Plum Grove was actually a “dump valve” that became over pressured, causing it to release.
Royalty Pipeline Company responded within 15 minutes and got the situation quickly under control.
There was no danger and no evacuation. Company responded in under 15 minutes and had the situation under control.
The Plum Grove Fire Department was assisted by Porter Fire Department.

6:30 p.m. – Porter and Plum Grove Fire Departments are on the scene of a pipeline rupture near the intersection of CR 347 and FM 1010 in the Plum Grove area.
A tree fell, damaging the pipeline. The company that owns it just arrived on location.
There are no evacuations and no fire at this time.
