CHILDS AGE UPDATED TO 11
About 1:45 pm Monday, EMC Fire was dispatched to a reported cardiac arrest. While enroute they were advised it was a an ATV crash in the 13000 block of Morgan Drive in Splendora. Units arrived on the scene with Splendora Police and found an ATV on its side just inside a fence line. The ATV had rolled onto the 11-year-old female operator. She was deceased. DPS responded to the scene along with MCSO. According to DPS, the teen was traveling north on Morgan Drive along the ditch. She went through the ditch, hit and went through the fence, and rolled. The Montgomery County Forensic Investigator responded to the scene. The victim was transported by Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to the Montgomery Coutny Forensic Center for autopsy.
