Update-Violent Armed Robbery

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office released details Friday of an armed robbery at a local convenience story where multiple victims were attacked and robbed.

On Thursday, around 9:40 p.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the Fuel Maxx #1 Store, located in the 12700 Block of Highway 105 East, in Cut and Shoot, Texas.

The clerks said three armed males entered the store. One male proceeded behind the counter, threatened a clerk, and demanded money. Another male watched for people entering the store, while the third male detained and watched the other employees in the store. While the suspects were inside the store, they assaulted two store employees. One store employee was struck with a pistol by a suspect, while another employee was kicked several times in the face. One of these employees had to be transported to a local hospital for evaluation. A customer that entered the store during the robbery was confronted by one of the suspects, who took her personal property. The suspects then fled the location on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office units responded to the location but were unable to locate the suspects.

The suspects are described as three black males dressed in various colored clothing wearing bandanas covering their faces. Investigators are in the process of reviewing evidence.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call the Major Crimes Unit at (936) 760-5876 or Montgomery County Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest or indictment of a felony crime. Call 800-392-STOP (7867). Anonymous tips can also be made through the Montgomery County Crime Stoppers WEB PAGE at
