945am-US 59 is still down to one left lane at FM 2090 overpass. This after an 18-wheeler broke a drive shaft this morning and ruptured a fuel tank. A trail of fuel was left behind. A heavy duty wrecker is on the scene to remove the truck once the remaining fuel is pumped out. HAZMAT International is also on the scene to start the cleanup. At least one right lane will be closed most of the day as cleanup continues.
MCPR was created in 2008 after Jamie left a newspaper that conflicted with her ethics. Initially, it was blog style website where Jamie wrote stories and posted them with photos. Scott Engle and Jamie Nash are Montgomery County residents and veteran law enforcement / breaking news reporters, who met covering a law enforcement story and have covered multiple counties, with Scott as a television videographer for multiple local stations and national networks, and Jamie as newspaper / magazine / online reporter.
