At about 10:30 am Caney Creek Fire was dispatched to a major accident on FM 2090 near Tommy Smith Road. A Mazda 3 was westbound when for unknown reasons the driver went into a slide, hit a mailbox, and began to roll. After the fourth flip, the vehicle landed on its wheels. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt was thrown into the passenger seat. He suffered minor injuries and was transported to HCA Conroe. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office worked the crash. Milstead Wrecker removed the vehicle from the scene.
