At 7:12 a.m. this morning Porter Fire Department was dispatched to Ford Road at Parker for a single-vehicle accident. When they arrived they found a 2005 Jeep Liberty which had been westbound on Ford Road. For unknown reasons, it left the roadway going through a ditch and striking a corral board fence surrounding a horse pasture. The vehicle continued and struck a utility pole breaking some of the components supporting the wires.
MCHD also responded and determined the 16-year-olds male was deceased.
DPS Trooper McGilbery who worked the accident said one of the corral fence boards went through the windshield striking the young man i the neck.
Judge James Metts responded to the scene and ordered the victim be transported to Dallas for autopsy.
Troopers are still attempting to notify next of kin. Once that is complete we will post the photos and videos of the scene.
Ford Road which had been closed due to the accident is back open.
The young man that was killed in the accident has been identified as Maximilan Keevill, age 16 of Kingwood.
